CMMS since its establishment is engaged in building evidence based interventions working with the grass root community organizations to promote gender equity and prevent violence in Bangladesh involving boys and men challenging patriarchy. Until 2016, our rapidly expanding work across the key themes below has reached people in five different districts.
Developing interventions for engaging men and boys in gender equality based on continuous research findings . Brave Men Campaign, Prio Baba Campaign, The Campus Hero Cafe 2017 are some its major action research projects.
ENGAGING YOUNG MEN AND BOYS
In all its research projects, CMMS has been engaging young men and boys for gender justice through innovative educative programs and community mobilization activities.
CMMS also organizes a wide range of awareness raising events and programs to prevent all forms of gender based violence and violence against children.
